We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our company and drive the growth of our client base. The BDM will be responsible for following up on leads, attending appointments, ensuring accurate data in marketing systems, and meeting sales targets.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a crucial role in our sales process by actively pursuing leads, building relationships with potential clients, and converting opportunities into sales. The BDM will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals. This position requires exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of IT services, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. The BDM will also be responsible for maintaining accurate data in our marketing systems and CRM.

Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Follow-up:

· Follow up on leads generated through various channels, including inbound inquiries, referrals, and marketing campaigns.

· Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients.

· Engage with prospects through calls, emails, and meetings to build relationships and create opportunities.

· Qualify leads based on their fit with our IT services and their potential for conversion into sales.

Sales Process Management:

· Manage the entire sales process, including identifying prospects, scheduling appointments, delivering presentations, and negotiating contracts.

· Conduct sales meetings and presentations to showcase our IT services and value proposition.

· Understand client requirements and tailor proposals and solutions to meet their specific needs.

· Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized proposals and ensure smooth handover for implementation.

Relationship Building:

· Build and nurture relationships with clients, understanding their long-term goals and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

· Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional services.

Data Management:

· Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in our marketing systems and CRM.

· Enter relevant data and updates into the CRM system in a timely manner.

· Regularly review and clean up data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and target specific segments or industries.

Sales Targets:

· Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

· Monitor and report on sales activities, progress, and results.

· Continuously analyze market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and areas for growth.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

· Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the IT services industry.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong negotiation and closing abilities.

· Knowledge of IT services and the ability to understand and explain technical concepts.

· Familiarity with CRM software and marketing automation systems.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
